第五天　2011 Aug14

這是我們的第一個主日，巴城教會的崇拜在下午三時舉行

在舒適的天氣下，我們在中午時於教會天台舉行聚餐。雖然姊妹們需花額外的時間預備各式的美食，但她們都十分享受這個特別活動－通常只有短宣隊探訪才舉行聚餐。同一時間，教會大堂舉行免費的西文學習班，幫助一些剛到抵委國的華人，也希望藉此機會讓他們認識教會及參與我們的聚會。

下午三時，我們開始中西聯合崇拜，由短宣隊及教會領唱小組帶敬拜，並由Kevin証道

主題是”不要懼怕”，無論身處何地，或經歷生命的不同階段，我們都會因著不同的人和事而懼怕，盼望信徒及非信徒都從聖經中得著鼓勵。

剛巧遇上一對孖生姊妹的生日,全會聚一起為他們慶祝

崇拜後舉行成日主人學,Kevin以三福大綱教導信徒如何簡單地講解福音的重點,三福是一個很有系統的工具,盼望信徒們都能被裝備,隨時隨地作見証. 每位學員都列出十個對象,重點為這些家人朋友禱告.

This is the first time for us to join the 3pm Sunday service in Barquisimito.

The weather is wonderful; we have potluck at the rooftop of church. They don’t always have potluck gathering but only when stm visit the church. We all enjoy the delicious food together with a thankful and joyful heart. At the same time, church has also invited a native Spanish speaker to teach a Spanish class. This could not only help those new comers to adapt live in Venezuela, but also provide a chance to attract non-believers to visit our church.

The STM team leads 2 songs in worship section, then Kevin share a message title “Don’t be afraid”. Willian also share his testimony to encourage everyone of us. It happens that today is the birthday of a twin sisters, the whole congregation have a celebration for them.

After Sunday service, Kevin continue to teach how to do personal evangelical sharing using the EE3 model. EE3 is a very systematic and present the gospel in a very simple and direct way. Pray that everyone could find this method beneficial and helpful for them to share gospel in their daily life. Each student also list 10 potential target friends/families and pray for them.
